Parley Debt Consulting is an Edmonton based company consulting with families struggling with the burden of crippling debt. Over the last 5 years our client centric consulting process has lead to hundreds of families saving upwards of 80% on their debt. Over that time, hundreds of thousands of dollars have been negotiated in favour of those families.
You can be assured our approach to self-solvency is uniquely family focused. When a family is referred to us, we start with understanding that families current situation through a one hour no-cost consultation. At which time we outline all their options from bankruptcy to “staying the course”. Oddly enough, “staying the course” may save them dollars in the long run through better budgeting. Ultimately though, we are here to simplify the layered and regulated world of creditor, collector, and legal obligations that can be as complicated as they are frustrating. From feeling completely overwhelmed and over-matched they can walk away with a feeling of purpose and control.
At Parley Debt Consulting we understand through our many consultations that there are underlying behaviors that need to be addressed to prevent a future relapse into financial instability. Studies show that an individual who goes bankrupt once is 75% likely to do so again, and being keenly aware of that we offer a unique program called Everyday People, where they can identify spending behaviors with a counselor and peers alike. Therefore, not only do we solve the families financial troubles, we give them outlets to prevent them from being a repeat customer.
When a family comes to us, that family is under no obligation to use our services, although many do. Once we’ve completed our one hour assessment and the client now fully understands each outcome scenario we’ve outlined, we’ve fulfilled our primary focus of financial education. Now the client has industry understanding, clear choices, and can make an informed decision on how to change their financial future and start re-building their credit.
What I stand for:
I stand for my family, my spouse, children, my mom, my pappy, and of course our amazing pets Maggie, and Austin. I know the value of integrity and strive to be that person. I treat others with compassion and respect without being judgmental. I stand for books, learning, the sharing of knowledge and seeking new experiences. I stand for spirituality and encourage any religion with a doctrine for peace and put the needs of the world before the needs of the organization. I stand for helping those who cannot help themselves. I stand for allowing nature to touch my soul. I stand for having enough time to experience the things I truly enjoy, my family, my work, my friends. I stand for being able to find love in what you are doing and for me that is the ability to help someone find their turning point. I stand for sharing my knowledge and offering guidance that may provide a little bit of magic that empowers someone to take control of their life, find hope and rekindle childhood dreams. I stand for realizing it is OK for me to derive personal satisfaction from this, to rely on their success as much as they do.
